We sell plant machinery to all corners of the world. We have a strong, global network of freight handlers ready to ship our used construction machinery to our international customers.
There is a very high chance that wherever you are in the world, you are not far from an H. E. Services machine. We also have established customers around the world:
Customers based in any EU country will need to ensure that one of the two following options apply as part of the sale, so we can be HMRC compliant at all times:
1. The customer agrees to use & pay for our accredited shippers and we arrange shipping to the destination country so to ensure all export documentation can be guaranteed.
2. If the customer insists on self shipping then they are liable to arrange all export paperwork necessary to reach their destination address & VAT at 20% is chargeable at the point of sale. Once all export documentation has been provided by the customer then the VAT will be refunded. Any self shipping pro-formas must show the VAT element at 20%.
We offer shipping by Sea-freight using Roll-on/Roll-off transport, Low Loaders and shipping containers, as well as road haulage if required.
If you buy a Mini digger in the UK for example, we can arrange inland deliveries within the UK, using our own national fleet of dedicated plant transport. We have beaver-tail trucks and low-loaders, with the capacity to move machinery up to 60 tonnes.
Financing equipment is not a service we offer directly. We tend to work closely with a carefully selected group of finance houses and brokers. We work with several companies in order to offer our customers flexible and competitive financing options.
We are more than happy to work directly with overseas finance companies if instructed to by the customer.

We accept payment in Pounds Sterling (GBP), Euros (EUR) and US Dollars (USD). GBP is the base currency that we work from, all quotes in EUR or USD will be based on the daily rate we receive from Santander bank. This is with a cushion percentage added to allow for any expected fluctuation between currencies.
EUR and USD quotes are valid for 5 days. If a quote is accepted after the 5th day the value will be adjusted using the daily rate provided by Santander bank.
The preferred method of payment is via bank transfer. We can also accept escrow via a third party shipping company (we must have a working relationship with the third party).
All machinery sold will stay the property of the H. E. Group Ltd until full cleared funds are received. Machinery will not be released for dispatch or collection until full cleared funds are received.
Once a machine has been shipped, we will raise the final sales invoice. The final sales invoice along with all documentation that we hold for each machine will be sent by post. Email copies of invoices and documentation can also be provided on request.

Every H. E. Services Group machine is serviced at the manufacturer’s recommended intervals. In regards to our used Komatsu machinery (with Komtrax) any servicing that has been completed can be updated onto the Komtrax system and can be viewed online. Komtrax is a subscription service provided by Komatsu. Contact your local Komatsu dealer for further details.
At the H. E. Group Head Office in Strood, Kent we have a large workshop fully equipped for almost any machinery requirements. Our company stores stock for all commonly required parts. In addition, The Finishing Touch are our on-site paint-shop, capable of repainting even our largest excavator at over 50 tonnes
We source all our plant machinery from either H. E. Services (Plant Hire) Ltd. or Diggerland UK Theme Parks. They utilise an excellent machinery replacement policy, meaning the average age of equipment within the company fleet is 3 years old.
This is to ensure that the plant machinery for sale to our customers is reliable, lightly used, and has just one previous owner.
The warranty starts from the date that the machine leaves our premises, and covers major components like engine, hydraulic pumps, and hydraulic valves. However, it does not cover any labour costs or perishable/wear items such as, tyres, hoses, light bulbs, fuses etc. It also does not cover any damage to the machine after collection.
This is why if there is an issue we endeavour to have them resolved as soon as possible. In the event that you do need to claim under the warranty, we will need full details of the fault immediately. To make sure this process is handled quickly we will need as much information as possible and a set of clear and detailed photos.
For mainland UK customers we use our national depot network and team of mobile engineers to carry out repairs. For international customers we look to work with you directly or by using local based mechanics to complete any warranted work.
